Chicken Soup for the Soul to Release “Billy Graham & Me”

Chicken Soup for the Soul has created a special hardcover anthology documenting the life and legacy of Evangelist Billy Graham.

The authorized compilation, Chicken Soup for the Soul: Billy Graham & Me, will be released on February 12, and contains 101 personal and impactful stories from some of the most influential leaders in government, business, sports, entertainment, and religion as well as Rev. Graham’s friends and family.

Just as Rev. Graham’s ministry transcended religious, racial and political boundaries, so does the list of contributors to this 404-page book as they reveal and confirm his place in history. Prominent Christian pastors, leaders from other faiths, celebrities, heroes, regular citizens, and remarkably, every living U.S. president – collectively document the effects of Rev. Graham’s worldwide ministry over more than six decades.

“When my husband and I first launched Campus Crusade for Christ, there was little cooperation among churches,” recalls Vonette Bright, who co-founded the now prominent Campus Crusade for Christ with her late husband, Bill Bright. “Our prayer was that God would use Campus Crusade as a catalyst in helping to bring the denominations together. The organization now has locations on more than 1,100 colleges, with over 74,000 students involved, having ministered to hundreds of millions of young people. It was Billy [Graham] who had the visibility and willingness to help accomplish this goal back when we first began nearly sixty years ago.”

Other prominent figures who have contributed include Tony Dungy, Mike Huckabee, Larry King, TobyMac, Bill O’Reilly, Cal Thomas, Jim Wallis, Rick Warren, and Tony Blair.
