Manassas, VA – Dr. Ron Moore, President of The Journey Radio Ministry, will address the NRB Board of Directors during their annual meeting at NRB 2012 to be held in Nashville, TN, on Saturday, February 18th.
NRB President & CEO Dr. Frank Wright commented, “We are excited to hear from Ron and to be challenged and encouraged by his devotional message at the NRB Board meeting.”
With 20 years of experience leading The Bible Chapel in the South Hills of Pittsburgh, PA, Dr. Moore shares his insight and teaching on The Journey, a daily radio broadcast heard over 94 radio outlets across the country. These broadcasts present a belief that God’s Word is truth, it is imperishable, and applicable today in every society.
The Bible Chapel's vision is to develop followers of Jesus Christ and to engage the spiritually disconnected into life transformation. As a result of his leadership, commitment, and a strong ministry team, the congregation has grown to more than 2,000.
Dr. Moore grew up in Perry, OK. An athlete through his college years, he continued his love for sports and competition through coaching in the public schools, and most recently in recreational leagues. Dr. Moore’s four degrees in education and theology, and short time as a teacher, provide a solid base for his ability as an excellent communicator of God’s word. He earned Master of Theology (Th.M.) and Doctor of Ministry (D.Min.) degrees from Dallas Theological Seminary, and his doctoral work focused on Marriage Enrichment. He also holds a Masters degree in Education from Texas A&M at Commerce.
Currently, Dr. Moore serves on the Trinity Evangelical Seminary Pittsburgh Advisory Board and the Pittsburgh Regional International Student Ministry Board.
