WASHINGTON (NRB) – Today, NRB President & CEO Dr. Jerry A. Johnson issued the following statement concerning the designation by President Donald J. Trump of FCC Commissioner Ajit Pai as new Chairman:

“FCC Chairman Ajit Pai is winsome, fair, and an expert in the field. He is also a tried and true friend of First Amendment freedom. I am pleased and grateful that President Trump has chosen to make this stellar appointment, and we at NRB look forward to working with Chairman Pai on pivotal issues of liberty and electronic media as he takes on this important new role.”
