Manassas, VA – The Christian Broadcasting Network (CBN) will receive the 2013 NRB Media Award for Best Television Talk Show on Tuesday, March 5, at the NRB 2013 Convention & Exposition.
The NRB Best Television Talk Show Award is presented each year to a talk show that deals with important issues of the day; has guests who are engaging, authoritative, and able to communicate effectively; engages the culture in a compelling way; demonstrates fidelity to the Word of God (including sound doctrine and biblical teaching); and demonstrates an ability to embrace other ministry organizations in an effort to expand a Christ-centered influence in the culture. This year, the judges named CBN the winner of the award for The 700 Club.

Hosted by Pat Robertson, Terry Meeuwsen, and Gordon Robertson with news anchor Lee Webb, The 700 Club is a live television program that airs weekdays before a studio audience from CBN’s broadcast facilities inVirginia Beach,VA. The program is a mix of news and commentary, interviews, feature stories, and Christian ministry. It includes live guests, special features, and music.
The program also has the variety and pacing of a morning show with in-depth investigative reporting by the CBN News team. Whether reporting live from the scene of a terrorist attack or a natural disaster, CBN News brings coverage on major events affecting our nation.
Watched daily by approximately one million viewers in 95 percent of the television markets across theUnited States, the program is carried on ABC Family Channel cable network, FamilyNet, Trinity Broadcasting Network, and numerousU.S.television stations.
