NASHVILLE (NRB) – Hope for the Heart received the 2018 NRB Strategic Partnership Award on Friday, March 2, at Proclaim 18, the NRB International Christian Media Convention in Nashville, Tennessee.
The NRB Strategic Partnership Award is presented to an NRB full member that has forged an effective partnership with an indigenous ministry, marked by strategic planning and cooperation with indigenous co-workers, sensitivity to cultural distinctives, and an impactful Christian outreach in the target culture.
Hope for the Heart is a Texas-based Christian ministry offering biblical hope and practical help for everyday problems. Founded by June Hunt, the ministry is built on the foundation of the 100-topic Biblical Counseling Keys Library that provides biblical counseling and coaching for contemporary concerns.
The ministry produces two listener-supported and award-winning radio broadcasts – the live call-in biblical counseling program Hope in the Night, and the half-hour production Hope for the Heart in which Hunt provides one-on-one biblical guidance to callers. Through publishing and radio, the message of hope is distributed in more than 30 languages on six continents.
The International Impact Award was one of 26 awards that were presented during Proclaim 18, which took place February 27-March 2, 2018, at the Gaylord Opryland Resort & Convention Center in Nashville, Tennessee. For the complete list of 2018 award recipients, click here.
