WASHINGTON (NRB) – FamilyLife will receive the 2017 NRB Media Award for Radio Program of the Year for FamilyLife Today on Thursday March 2, 2017, at Proclaim 17, the NRB International Christian Media Convention in Orlando, Florida.
The NRB Media Award for Radio Program of the Year is presented to a radio program that impacts the listener by being compelling, relevant, informative, personable, and entertaining, while demonstrating an authentic Christian faith. Programs, regardless of length or frequency of airing, may compete for Program of the Year. The emphasis is not on the number of markets, numbers of listeners, or the size of the budget. Rather, the award honors a program God has used over the last 12 months to make a difference for Christ, whether it is in a small community or across the nation.
Addressing current and relevant issues through their own expertise, life experience, and winsome humor, Dennis Rainey and Bob Lepine welcome leading marriage and family experts to join them on FamilyLife Today, faithfully delivering biblical, practical help and hope to families all over the world.
The Radio Program of the Year Award is one of 21 awards that will be presented during Proclaim 17, which takes place February 27-March 2, 2017, at the Orlando World Center Marriott in Orlando. For the complete list of 2017 award recipients, click here.
