WASHINGTON (NRB) – The Billy Graham Evangelistic Association (BGEA) will receive NRB’s 2017 TV Messaging Campaign of the Year Award for the Decision America Tour 2016. The award will be presented on Thursday, March 2, at Proclaim 17, the NRB International Christian Media Convention in Orlando, Florida.
The BGEA proclaims the Gospel of Jesus Christ throughout the world by every effective means available. From its headquarters in Charlotte, North Carolina, the BGEA directs a wide range of domestic and international ministries.
The Decision America Tour with Franklin Graham traveled to all 50 states in 2016, encouraging thousands in attendance to accept the Lord and sign a pledge to commit to God and the country by voting for godly leaders and prayerfully considering running for local office.
The NRB Television Messaging Campaign of the Year Award is presented to an organization that demonstrates exceptional creativity, innovation, and excellence in production quality as it stands for free speech and/or against the threats to free speech or religion. The messaging campaign must demonstrate creativity in its presentation of the issue and engage the viewer to action.
The TV Messaging Campaign of the Year Award is one of 21 awards that will be presented during Proclaim 17, which takes place February 27-March 2, 2017, at the Orlando World Center Marriott in Orlando. For the complete list of 2017 award recipients, click here.
