What to Expect When You’re Expecting an LPFM
June 18, 2015There’s no doubt about it: Low-power FM stations are becoming a significant part of the radio landscape. According to FCC statistics, by the end of March, 1,025 LPFM stations were licensed, 145 facility modifications had been issued, 1,406 construction permits were in effect for as-yet unbuilt stations and 423 applications for new stations remained pending. It seems apt to welcome LPFM into the media mix.
