Auction 99 Bidders Pony Up For 11 FM Translators

The final (virtual) gavel draws Auction 99 to a close at the Federal Communications Commission. The agency says it raised $227,600 for eleven FM translators. The most hotly-contested signal was a translator allotted to Massena, NY. The faceoff went 22 rounds until Stephens Media Group’s $17,000 bid beat out one from Waters Communications.
