Will FCC Regulate Online Web Services Next?

The Federal Communications Commission (FCC), which regulates satellite and traditional cable companies, may now begin regulating the online video service segment as well. This, while offering protection, might also necessitate some obligations. The question is whether the commission will apply the same kind of regulations on the online video segment as it does on traditional cable companies and multichannel video-package distributors, or roll out a completely different set of regulations for the online service.
