Google dominates Internet lobbying, shelling out $4.62M

Google doled out most money of any Internet company to lobby the federal government in the second quarter of the year, though Amazon and Facebook bumped up their spending as well. Google, which usually ranks in the top 10 for Washington lobbying among all industries, spent $4.62 million on lobbying last quarter, a drop from this time last year, when it had spent just over $5 million.
