FCC commissioner predicts battle over Obama proposal

Reclassifying broadband Internet as a public utility will spur a heated battle between the Federal Communications Commission and Congress, Republican commissioner Ajit Pai warned Friday.

He also argued that treating the Internet like a utliity, as President Obama proposed Monday, would impose hundreds of pages of unprecedented regulations on the Internet.
