September 29, 2014
Charles McVety, president of the Canada Christian College, revealed at the annual Values Voter Summit in Washington that there is an increasing encroachment by government on religious freedom in the U.S. and Canada. McVety believes that the Canadian government monitors and censors sermons broadcast on television.
President of the National Religious Broadcasters, Jerry Johnson, who helped moderate the discussion agreed with McVety stating there was a pressing need to “spread awareness” about this issue.
