FCC Chairman Urged to Reject Petition Against ‘Redskins’ Name on Grounds of Free Speech

Last Thursday, Dr. Jerry A. Johnson — president of the Manassas, Va.-based religious media watch group National Religious Broadcasters (NRB) —  sent a letter to Wheeler which has been publicly filed by the FCC, urging the chairman to “reject” that petition on the grounds of free speech.
