True Woman '14 National Women's Conference: Oct. 9-11

Tru Woman Conference logoNancy Leigh DeMoss, author and the host and teacher for nationally syndicated radio programs Revive Our Hearts and Seeking Him, will host the “True Woman” national conference October 9-11 at the Indiana Convention Center in Indianapolis.

Held each year since 2008, the True Woman conference brings together thousands of women to energize and equip them so that they may more effectively encourage other women in their own spheres of influence.

“We have lots of people that the Lord has put together … who will all be helping us to cry out to the Lord, to seek the Lord, and to experience greater freedom, fullness, and fruitfulness in our relationship with Christ so that we can leave True Woman ‘14 and make it much more than an event,” DeMoss says.

They can “make it a way of life as we go back to our homes, our churches, and our communities, and represent Christ and His perspective on true womanhood wherever He has placed us to serve Him,” she adds.

Aside from DeMoss, other leading women’s ministry speakers and authors who will take the stage at True Woman ‘14 include Joni Eareckson Tada, Janet Parshall, Mary Kassian, Pastor Jim Cymbala, and Chrissy Toledo. Leading worship will be Keith & Kristyn Getty.

In addition, there will be a pre-conference that starts the afternoon of October 9 for ministry leaders and pastors’ wives, as well as “any woman who is interested in helping other women become true women of God.”

The pre-conference will be particularly interactive as participants will get to meet, talk, and engage with other women who are trying to reach women as they are. There will be dialogue, Q&A, and helpful discussions.

“We want women to get energized about God’s calling in their lives; to be equipped to serve Him more effectively as women’s ministry leaders and pastors' wives; to be encouraged in what they’re doing,” says DeMoss.
