Revive Our Hearts and Nancy Leigh DeMoss recently concluded their eight-city Revive Tour successfully with the help of the many radio stations and churches that partnered with the ministry.
In total, the outreach drew around 15,000 across the country, and helped many learn more about the mission and message of Revive Our Hearts.
Moreover, lives were impacted and changed through the tour, which kicked off March 19 in Dallas/Fort Worth, TX, and concluded June 22 in Lancaster, PA.
"A miracle happened Friday night at the Revive Tour in Lancaster," shared one participant in an e-mail to the Revive Our Hearts team. "I had invited five women, but no one accepted, so my twenty-four-year-old unsaved son said he'd come with me. The message that night was right on, and my son was broken, humbled, and repentant. He asked the Lord to come into his life that night and has since witnessed to his unsaved father."
Another participant shared on her blog how the event encouraged her and kept her "on course."
"Our hearts were stirred as we focused in exalting Christ and moved in quiet meditation as we focused on our Saviour’s great love!" she recalled. "Nancy gave a powerful message that touched many hearts and lives. Tears were shed and hearts were encouraged as Christ met with us."
At each of the two-day gatherings, participants were able to hear stories of how God is working and changing lives through the ministry of Revive Our Hearts. They were also able to see how a radio program is produced from the ground up by participating in a half-day recording session.
"From the time we entered the conference doors, God’s presence was evident," shared one participant from the tour’s April 18-19 stop in Grand Rapids, MI. "The music, messages, and fellowship were amazing. I came exhausted spiritually and physically weak, fatigued, and in pain. The day was amazing! God used it to spiritually uplift me and restore me."
Next up for the ministry is "Revive '13: Women Helping Women," a special conference designed for women's ministry leaders, pastors' wives, Bible study teachers, and biblical counselors.
The September 20-21 event will be held at the Renaissance Schaumburg Hotel in Schaumburg, IL. In addition to DeMoss, speakers include ministry leader Paul David Tripp, author Elyse Fitzpatrick, and worship leader Shannon Wexelberg.
The conference is expected to sell out soon.
