While many of the thousands who attend the NRB Convention & Exposition are looking for new business opportunities, products, services, and know-how, the event is not just about business.
The Convention presents opportunities for attendees to forge strong, lifetime bonds with like-minded communicators whose lifeblood is Christ and the proclamation of the Gospel.
“I'm looking forward to this time of fellowship with partners in ministry as well as the opportunity to make new friends,” says one past attendee.
“Relationship-building is probably the biggest benefit of coming to this gathering — meeting new friends and strengthening established ties — to see how we can work together to advance the Kingdom-building work of the Gospel,” says another.
“It’s a great opportunity to meet new friends and reunite with familiar faces,” adds another.
In addition, there will be plenty of opportunities to relax and enjoy your time.
On the Saturday night of the Convention, there will be the Industry Reception and Game Night, where you can join with your peers from various industry groups attending the Convention for an evening of fellowship and fun. If you are a newcomer to your industry or to the Convention, Friday night will be a great opportunity for you to establish relationships with those who are seasoned and those who are pioneers of the past, as well as those who are moving forward with fresh visions. This is a time of encouragement and inspiration as you build, refresh and renew relationships. Enjoy a time of fun and games, fellowship and refreshment. You might even win a prize!
Monday night at NRB, meanwhile, is always special and full of surprises. This year is no exception as some of the funniest people in the business take the mic. Bring a friend because this one is open to all, no passes or badges required! Comedians Dennis Swanberg, Chonda Pierce and Michael Jr. are sure to please and get you laughing to tears. Also in the lineup is The Nate Terry Band, a new up-and-coming group making their debut at NRB 2013.
Then, there’s Tuesday night at the NRB Convention – one of the highlights of the program. This year, Convention attendees will be in for a special treat as Russ Taff, Clay Crosse, First Call and Wayne Watson join our speaker Joni Eareckson Tada on the program that evening. Kicking off their Lord of All Tour at NRB, this quartet of artists has an impressive resume of chart-topping hits loved and cherished by audiences from around the globe. The Lord of All Tour features some of the best music from Christian legacy artists whose stories and music are brought together in a night of worship you will not soon forget. Join us Tuesday evening and be renewed again.
Lastly, aside from the Convention itself, the Convention site – the Gaylord Opryland – offers a wide range of activities and opportunities for its guests.
Amidst the resort’s lush botanical gardens, pristine indoor cities and one-of-a-kind environments, you'll find a myriad of outstanding restaurants … and plenty of opportunities to please everyone. Experience a 360° walkthrough. If you haven’t been to an NRB Convention before, you’ll experience luxury, four-star resort accommodations for one low convention price during NRB 2013.
