Fox News radio host and commentator Todd Starnes released last week his latest book, The Deplorables' Guide to Making America Great Again, in which he reports from the front lines of the culture war in America and provides insights on what readers can do to bring about real and lasting change in the nation.
“President Obama called us bitter. Hillary Clinton called us deplorable. But Donald Trump called us Americans, and he promised to make our nation great again,” said Starnes, addressing conservatives in America.
“But there is still a clear and present danger looming in the distance,” added Starnes, who is a member of NRB. “Yes, we elected Donald Trump, we saved the Supreme Court, and we’re going to defend American sovereignty, but winning was just the beginning.”
Starnes' message to conservatives is that change may start at the White House, but it finishes at your house.
Published by Charisma House’s Frontline imprint, The Deplorables' Guide to Making America Great Again is packed with practical advice on fighting and winning the war on traditional American values. Starnes uses his signature Southern humor to take readers on a wild literary ride through the culture.
“If you want to know why the Left thinks you are a ‘Deplorable’ and what to do about it, read The Deplorables' Guide to Making America Great Again,” said NRB President & CEO Dr. Jerry A. Johnson in his endorsement of the book. “Todd Starnes is a Southern-fried conservative and more importantly, a Christian, who has a gift for speaking the truth and saying it in a way that makes it memorable!”
Other high-profile conservatives and NRB members who have endorsed the book include Franklin Graham, President of the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association; Tony Perkins, President of Family Research Council; Dr. Robert Jeffress, Senior Pastor of First Baptist Church in Dallas, Texas; and Brad Dacus, President of Pacific Justice Institute.

Starnes will be one of more than 80 speakers at Proclaim 17, the NRB International Christian Media Convention taking place February 27-March 2 in Orlando.
Starnes will be moderating three of the four Public Policy Sessions at Proclaim 17. In the first session, he will interview Dr. James Dobson, President of Dr. James Dobson’s Family Talk, who is celebrating 40 years of defending family values. In the second, he will interview acting and filmmaking couple Kevin and Sam Sorbo, who will talk about politics in entertainment. In the third session, he will moderate a panel highlighting the personal attacks on First Amendment freedoms and what may lie ahead. Participants on the panel will include nationally syndicated columnist David Limbaugh and twin brothers and entrepreneurs David and Jason Benham.
