Salem Media Group’s radio network provided exclusive radio coverage of the Republican presidential debate on Wednesday in partnership with CNN.
Salem Radio Network (SRN) presented the audio of the December 15 debate to its 31 NewsTalk stations, and others around the country. In addition, SRN Talk Show Host Hugh Hewitt served as a panelist, as he had done in the last CNN debate at the Reagan Library, for which SRN also provided exclusive radio coverage.
“As the exclusive provider of radio coverage for the GOP debates, Salem carried this important and historic debate across the nation,” remarked NRB President & CEO Dr. Jerry A. Johnson. “We are proud to have NRB members such as Salem who fulfill Jesus' charge to be salt and light in the public square.”
As part of its partnership with CNN, Salem will also offer coverage of the CNN GOP debate on March 10, 2016, from Florida, which will again include Hewitt as a panelist. In addition, Salem will offer extended election night coverage for the caucuses and primaries coming up: Iowa, New Hampshire, South Carolina (that may be a Saturday this cycle, not a Tuesday), Nevada, March 1 Super Tuesday, and March 15 Super Tuesday.
Stations interested in coverage of the debate including the pre- and post-coverage should contact Tom Tradup at Salem Radio Network at (972) 707-6885.
