Christian apologist and evangelist Ravi Zacharias will speak at the Opening Session of the NRB 2020 Christian Media Convention taking place February 25-28, 2020, in Nashville, Tennessee.
NRB’s annual Convention is the largest nationally and internationally recognized event dedicated solely to the field of Christian communications. Its dynamic Exposition consists of around 200 organizations and is an active marketplace for those seeking to enhance their media and ministry efforts.
“We are thrilled to have Dr. Zacharias open up our 2020 Convention in Nashville, where thousands of media and ministry professionals will gather for a week of networking, learning, and showcasing,” said Troy Miller, NRB’s Interim CEO. “For nearly five decades, Dr. Zacharias has been committed to represent the Gospel of Jesus Christ and to defend it with grace, clarity, and coherency. NRB is proud to protect the free speech rights of members such as him to speak Biblical truth. And he will no doubt inspire and equip those in attendance at NRB 2020.”
Zacharias has spent the past 46 years commending the Christian faith and addressing life’s great existential questions of origin, meaning, morality, and destiny with eloquence and grace. He has laid the framework of the truth of the Gospel to millions of people in more than 70 countries, including on the campuses of some of the world’s leading universities. He has authored or edited more than 25 books in the fields of theology, apologetics, comparative religion, and philosophy.
In 1984, Zacharias founded Ravi Zacharias International Ministries (RZIM), which today has 16 offices throughout the world in the United States, Canada, Peru, Kenya, South Africa, the United Kingdom, Austria, Spain, Romania, Macedonia, Turkey, Singapore, Hong Kong, India, and the Middle East. Through its global team of speakers and more than 200 employees worldwide, RZIM seeks to impact the heart and intellect of society’s thinkers and influencers through evangelism, apologetics, spiritual disciplines, training, and humanitarian support.
