The National Religious Broadcasters (NRB) Executive Committee has voted to approve five new full members and 23 new associate members.
A nonpartisan international association of committed broadcasters and Christian communicators, NRB’s membership is an exciting blend of all forms of electronic mass media: radio and television stations, program producers and transmitters, filmmakers and distributors, churches with media ministries, Christian educational institutions with communications programs, worship technologies, media arts, music-only broadcasting, internet communications, emerging technologies, and affiliated media-related agencies, consultancies, and law firms that support religious broadcasters.
Full membership with voice and vote and all other benefits of NRB is offered to organizations and individuals within the United States and internationally that directly engage in the use of electronic mass media for the dissemination of the Gospel. Associate membership is offered to individuals and organizations who are engaged in services related to the purposes of the members of NRB. The following are new members:
Steve Browning is the Executive Director for The Worthy Walk, a national Christian radio program. His nearly 20 years in church production developed from overseeing a video ministry as a volunteer in Mansfield, Ohio, to running the Production Department at The Chapel in Akron, Ohio. In his current position, he oversees all aspects of the radio program and runs the Resource Center at The Chapel.

James R. Anderson
James R. Anderson is a Minnesota attorney (retired status) and author. Anderson authored a Christian devotional book under the title What Must I Do To Be Saved? This book includes all salvation verses in the New Testament with a short commentary on each. The book offers assurance for believers, a roadmap to salvation for others, and a tool for evangelism.

Don Cain is a husband of 58 years, father, grandfather, and successful businessman. Prior to his work with Prison Fellowship, Forbes served as Director of Communications for Reps. David McKinley (WV-1) and Mike Bost (IL-12) in Washington, D.C., for five years. For most of Forbes’ career, he worked in the television news industry from more than 28 years. Starting as a videographer, he served in many capacities in several newsrooms on the East Coast including managing editor, anchor, reporter, and producer.
Michael Gardner joined Christian Care Ministry in 2015, bringing more than 20 years of experience in communications, 10 years of which were spent in the healthcare arena. As Director of Communication, Gardner leads the organization’s communication strategies and oversees branding for Medi-Share and other Christian Care Ministry programs. Before joining Christian Care Ministry, Gardner was Vice President of Marketing and Communication for Visiting Nurse Association of Treasure Coast. He holds two master’s degrees in Mental Health Counseling and has taught at secular and Christian colleges. Dr. Calvin Wittman
Dr. Calvin R. Wittman has served Applewood Baptist Church since 1999. He is a graduate of Baylor University, Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary, and the Southern Baptist Theological Seminary. He and his wife, Diane, were missionaries in Spain. They have three children and three grandchildren.
