Christian media and ministry professionals working domestically and internationally through various forms of media are meeting this week in Dulles, Virginia, to help plan for the association's next convention, which will take place February 27-March 2, 2018, in Nashville, Tennessee.
NRB's Advisory Councils and Standing Committees meet twice a year (once during the annual NRB Convention) and are organized in seven different fields: Church Media, Digital Media, Film, Intercollegiate (iNRB), International, Radio, and Television.
Together, the council and committee members provide action-oriented input on the NRB International Christian Media Convention, the NRB Media Awards categories and criteria, and other NRB-related issues.
While Advisory Councils are open for participation by all Christian media professionals and ministry personnel, Standing Committees consist of elected members who dedicate themselves to advancing the overall mission of NRB and to serving the unique interests of specific constituencies within the NRB family.
This week's meetings will commence with a welcome reception on Thursday, June 8. They conclude Friday, June 9.
