Member Voices: Chad Williams, Founder of Five Q

As Five Q Founder Chad Williams was transitioning from working from one ministry to serving many ministries through his agency, Five Q, he found that keeping the relationships he had built through NRB were vital for his company's growth.

"My passion was to bring excellence in digital to a broader base of ministries," explains Williams, who served for 7 years with a prominent national media ministry before starting Five Q. "I have always wanted to be investing my time in things that last for eternity. Serving the kingdom-minded ministries of NRB has been a natural fit."

Today, Williams does just that. He and the rest of the Five Q team provide digital and mobile solutions, digital communications services, and growth strategies to many of the country’s most significant Christian media ministries, including Revive Our Hearts, Joni and Friends, Hope for the Heart, Ligonier Ministries, Truth for Life, Moody Global, Voice of the Martyrs, Moody Media, and Answers in Genesis – all NRB members.

“In the beginning, my affiliation with NRB was critical to helping build awareness of Five Q, and to establishing the company’s credibility,” says Williams. “And today, 11 years after the founding of Five Q, NRB membership remains a key point of connection between the company and 80 percent of our core clients because they are also members and active in the association’s work.”

In 2015, Williams and Five Q’s involvement continues to grow. Not only is Williams the NRB Internet Committee Chair and an NRB Board Member, but Five Q is also a sponsor of the NRB Digital Media Summit, an opportunity he gets at a discount because of his NRB membership.

“For anyone looking to have a role in Christian communications, I recommend NRB membership and involvement,” says Williams. “It’s a high value way to build bridges to partners and potential partners who are doing significant work in spaces and places in need of the Gospel.”
