Member Spotlight: Ratio Christi Campus Apologetics Alliance, Truth Matters

Ratio Chrisi Truth MattersRatio Christi Campus Apologetics Alliance (RC) is an international apologetics outreach to college students, professors, and high school students. Ratio Christi, which means “reason of Christ” in Latin, has more than 185 chapters at colleges and universities and a high school apologetics ministry in affiliation with churches and youth groups. Its mission is to equip students and faculty to give historical, philosophical, and scientific evidence for following Jesus Christ. This gives them a way to integrate intellect, reason, and faith.

As many of its chapters meet weekly, RC has its finger on the pulse of today’s academic environment and the challenges to Christianity on campus. RC meetings and events also provide a friendly venue for atheists, skeptics, and people of any religion to investigate the claims of Christianity, discuss religious beliefs, and seek truth without fearing reprisal.

Ratio Christi’s Broadcast, Truth Matters

In addition to its campus movement, Ratio Christi is now broadcasting its second season of Truth Matters, a television show that is reaching a global audience via internet, satellite, and many internet-based devices. Host and apologist Tony Gurule interviews experts on a variety of topics and cultural issues that can be viewed through a Gospel-focused, apologetics lens.

The show is dedicated to providing believers and skeptics with evidence for the Christian worldview as viewers are introduced to “Truth” with a capital “T,” and pointing them to the Lord Jesus Christ. As Gurule reminds viewers weekly, “When it comes to what we believe and why we believe it, Truth Matters.”

Truth Matters airs live on Monday nights on the ABN’s Trinity Channel (, and select episodes are aired weekly on NRBTV which is viewable on DIRECTV® channel 378, select local affiliates, and streaming apps like Roku and AppleTV.

Each 90-minute live show is divided into three episodes, each with unique content catered to a different audience level – beginner, intermediate, and advanced. A list of ways to watch Truth Matters is available at
