For those who want to invest in and gain exposure in front of the next generation of Christian media professionals, there are unique opportunities available through the intercollegiate arm of NRB.
While NRB has been bringing together Christian media and ministry professionals since 1944, the Intercollegiate NRB (iNRB) has been promoting excellence, integrity, and networking opportunities in media among Christian students with an interest or major in broadcasting, journalism, or media communications.
Each year, the iNRB hosts meetings at the NRB International Christian Media Convention that allow students and faculty to learn more about the creative ideas and successes of other schools and programs.
iNRB also organizes a number of competitions that challenge students to apply their classroom education and internship experiences to produce professional-level media projects. Trophies and prize money are awarded each year to the top students, many of whom go on to serve at NRB member organizations, such as TWR.
“[F]or TWR, the annual [NRB Convention] has also turned out to be a proving ground for young missionary recruits,” the ministry reported last year.
For organizations interested in supporting iNRB, sponsorship opportunities are available. As a sponsor, not only will you invest in the future of Christian media, but you’ll also gain exposure among potential co-laborers and tomorrow’s media leaders.
Benefits of iNRB sponsorships include a free Convention registration (four for sponsors at the “Scholars’ Circle” level) and listing in the official Convention Program Book. iNRB sponsors will also have the opportunity to have their logo projected on the ballroom screen prior to ballroom events, and to broadcast a seven-minute promotional video (in a loop with other sponsors) on an NRB in-room television channel during the Convention.
At the iNRB Pizza Party that will take place during the Convention, “Scholars’ Circle” sponsors will be provided with a table for promotional materials as well as podium time to pitch programs and products. “Scholars’ Circle” sponsors also receive one 10’x10’ booth space in the Convention Exhibit Hall and can have one of their promotional items included in the Convention bag, which is dropped at the doors of all guests staying at the Gaylord Opryland Resort & Convention Center for the NRB Convention.
