TV host and author Megan Alexander will speak during the Friday morning Super Session at Proclaim 18, the NRB International Christian Media Convention that will be held February 27-March 2, 2018, in Nashville, Tennessee.
In addition to speaking, Alexander, a correspondent on the syndicated national news magazine television show Inside Edition, will be emceeing the iNRB Student Media Awards Ceremony Wednesday night.

Alexander began her television career as a reporter for Tennessee Mornings on Fox 17 where she was a traffic and weather radio reporter for MetroNetworks. While in Nashville, she hosted a teen show for LifeWay Christian Resources entitled Fuel. She then went on to be a reporter/anchor for KENS5, the CBS station in San Antonio, Texas, and co-hosted the morning show Great Day San Antonio before joining the Inside Edition. She was also a frequent guest commentator on HLN’s Showbiz Tonight and the Wendy Williams Show.
Her first book, Faith in the Spotlight – Thriving in Your Career While Staying True to Your Beliefs, was released by Simon and Schuster in 2016. In addition to her writing and television career, Alexander is an actress and producer and her film credits include roles in the movies Space Warriors, Redeemed, Heartbeats, and in the television dramas Nashville on ABC and Still the King on CMT. She hosts the nationally televised Inspirational Country Music Awards each year from Nashville.
Other speakers at Proclaim 18 will include Vice President Mike Pence; ministry leaders Rick Warren, Kay Arthur, David Jeremiah, Luis Palau, and Billy Kim; actors Jim Caviezel, Dennis Quaid, Stephen Baldwin, and filmmaker Alex Kendrick; radio talk show hosts Larry Elder, Eric Metaxas, and Dennis Prager; thought leaders Phil Cooke, Ed Stetzer, and Joel C. Rosenberg; and many more.
In addition, musical artists will include MercyMe, Fernando Ortega, and Michael W. Smith. The emcees of the Convention will be twin brothers, authors, and entrepreneurs David and Jason Benham.
Proclaim 18 will take place February 27-March 2, 2018, at the Gaylord Opryland Resort & Convention Center in Nashville, while NRB’s award-winning Exposition – featuring around 200 exhibitors – will be open February 28-March 2. The annual Convention is the largest nationally and internationally recognized event dedicated solely to assisting those in the field of Christian communications.
