Indian Christian Media Association to Host 8th Kingdom Media Conference in New Delhi

Indian Christian Media ConferenceThe Indian Christian Media Association (ICMA) is hosting its 8th Kingdom Media Annual Conference September 27-29 at Hotel Taj Vivanta in New Delhi.

Around 350 delegates from all across India are expected to participate, including Christian communicators, Christian media professionals, pastors, church leaders, ministry representatives, and more.  The theme for this year’s conference is “Pursue & Overtake.”

NRB has close ties with the conference, having supported the 2012 gathering through the donations made during the worship service at its 2012 Convention. A number of NRB leaders and members also had a hand in the formation of the India Christian Media Association, which officially launched in 2014 to unify and strengthen Christian media in the largely Hindu nation.

In addition to providing speakers for the event, NRB and NRB member organizations are among the conference’s supporters.

International guests this year will include Dr. John Ankerberg (The John Ankerberg Show), Bryan Bailey (First Baptist Church of Dallas), Troy Carl (Faith Comes By Hearing), John Carley (Trinet Solutions), Dr. Ron Harris (MEDIAlliance), Dr. Hannu Haukka (GCM Ministries), Dr. J. Allen Quine (Museum of the Bible), Dr. Ramesh Richard (RREACH), Krista Sederwall (CBN International), Dr. Adam C. Wright (Dallas Baptist University), and Dr. Joel Zaldumbide (In Touch Ministries).

“We believe that God is using these annual conferences to help train and mentor church leaders, communicators, media professionals, etc., to enhance their skills for better and effective communication to take the Gospel forward,” the organizers reported in a statement to NRB Today.

Aside from being the second-most populous country in the world, India has the largest number of unreached people groups for any one country.
