GOD TV Founder Wendy Alec has announced the appointment of Ward Simpson as Chief Executive Officer as the global network moves into a “new season.”
Alec made the announcement during Missions Week, live from Orlando, Florida on Oct. 1 – GOD TV's 21st birthday – as she and Simpson updated viewers on some of the special projects that have recently come to fruition.
“I am so grateful God has brought Ward and the Simpson family into GOD TV,” said Alec in a press release. “With Ward as CEO, I have complete faith we will enter a new season of stability, strength, and success.”
According to GOD TV, Simpson brings a wealth of experience in both business and ministry to the network. As senior executive with the Simpson Group of companies, he managed an international automobile distribution corporation. As executive director of the Brownsville Revival School of Ministry (BRSM), he was part of the leadership team in Pensacola, Florida, during the Brownsville Revival.
“I am privileged to lead GOD TV into this next season,” Simpson said. “I believe God has so much more ahead for the GOD TV team and our partners as we continue to touch lives around the globe.”
Simpson’s appointment as CEO will enable Alec to focus more time on the programs she hosts on GOD TV and to move forward with her series of best-selling novels, The Chronicles of Brothers, which are being developed into a major commercial television series.
GOD TV can be watched throughout the United States on channel 365 of DIRECTV as well as on cable in some cities. Viewers can also access GOD TV's webstream on their smartphone via the GOD TV app, computer (god.tv), or TV screen (Apple TV and Roku).
