FOX News Anchor Kelly Wright to Speak at Proclaim 18

Kelly WrightFOX News anchor Kelly Wright is scheduled to speak during Proclaim 18, the NRB International Christian Media Convention in Nashville, Tennessee.

Proclaim 18 will take place February 27-March 2, 2018, at the Gaylord Opryland Resort & Convention Center in Nashville, while NRB’s award-winning Exposition – featuring around 200 exhibitors – will be open February 28-March 2. The annual Convention is the largest nationally and internationally recognized event dedicated solely to assisting those in the field of Christian communications.

“We are glad to have Kelly Wright speak at our Convention,” said Dr. Jerry A. Johnson, President & CEO of NRB. “Kelly is an award-winning journalist whose experience in newsrooms large and small will offer an insightful perspective to Convention attendees.”

Wright currently serves as a co-anchor on America's News Headquarters, as well as an overnight breaking news anchor based in New York.

Wright began his journalism career in 1977 while serving in the United States Army, and has received numerous awards for his reporting, including two local Emmy Awards for his developing, reporting, and co-producing a documentary and news series on the transatlantic slave trade.

Wright secured numerous rare interviews, including a 1996 exclusive interview with O.J. Simpson following the criminal court trial. Wright also was among the first reporters to cover the Abu Ghraib Prison scandal and the subsequent court martial cases held in Baghdad. Wright was inducted into the Martin Luther King, Jr. Board of Sponsors at Morehouse College for his "Beyond the Dream" series.

Other speakers at Proclaim 18 in Nashville will include Kay Arthur, Co-Founder and CEO Emeritus of Precept Ministries International; Hugh Hewitt, Host of The Hugh Hewitt Show; David Jeremiah, Founder of Turning Point Radio and Television Ministries; writer, director, actor, and author Alex Kendrick; Billy Kim, Chairman of Far East Broadcasting Company in South Korea; Eric Metaxas, Host of The Eric Metaxas Show; evangelist Luis Palau of the Luis Palau Association; Dennis Prager, Host of The Dennis Prager Show; actor Dennis Quaid; Joel C. Rosenberg, Founder and Chairman of The Joshua Fund; Rick Warren, Pastor of Saddleback Church in Lake Forest, California; and many more.

In addition, musical artists will include MercyMe, Fernando Ortega, and Michael W. Smith. The emcees of the Convention will be twin brothers, authors, and entrepreneurs David and Jason Benham.
