Last year, the North America team of global Christian ministry CV created CV Outreach – a program to help connect seekers to the Church.
“Hundreds of thousands of people are searching for answers to their spiritual questions every day,” noted Nick Runyon, executive director at CV North America. “These searches occur online, across Google search bars and social media posts. Churches are largely absent from these conversations. CV wants to change that, and make a connection happen.”
Leveraging Google's grant program, which offers $10,000/month in free advertising to qualifying churches with 501c3 status, CV has been creating and managing digital campaigns to intersect spiritual seekers with the Gospel, and to help them make a connection to a church pastor.
“There is a lot that we can do for these church partners that they aren't doing -- or sometimes can't do -- for themselves,” Runyon told NRB Today. “The benefit for us all is that spiritual seekers get connected with the local church 24/7/365.”
In its first year of existence, CV Outreach reports having:
“CV does all of this on the church's behalf – for free,” Runyon said.
“I'm very excited about 2018 and think that we can grow the network to over 1,000 churches by getting connected with some major denominational leaders,” he added. “We have a great year ahead of us!”
