American Family Association Launches Campaign for National Truth For Youth Week

Truth For Youth Bible coverAmerican Family Association (AFA) is helping to distribute free Bibles to teenagers who commit to give the Bibles to their unsaved friends at school throughout this week.

On Monday, AFA kicked off National Truth For Youth Week with a radio campaign through American Family Radio’s affiliate stations across America.

“Each year, AFA is proud to work with Revival Fires to get the word of God into the hands of thousands of teens across the nation,” reported AFA Senior Vice President Buddy Smith, referring to the West Monroe, LA-based outreach of evangelist Tim Todd. “These young people are America’s hope, and the God of the Bible is the only hope for our young people.”

The Truth For Youth Bible consists of the entire New Testament, along with powerful full-color comics that are packed with “absolute truths” regarding issues young people face, such as evolution, sexual purity, homosexuality, abortion, pornography, drugs, drunkenness, peer pressure, school violence, suicide, and many others.

The back cover of the Truth For Youth Bible also displays the legal rights of students on public school campuses to inform school administrators and young people that they have the right to give Bibles away on campus during non-instructional time.

To date, more than two million copies of the Truth For Youth Bible have already been distributed to teenagers in an effort to bring salvation to young people and restore religious freedoms in public schools. As a result, more than 25,000 young people have sent decision coupons, emails, or letters confirming they have surrendered their hearts to Christ for the very first time.

The Truth For Youth Bible has been endorsed by prominent Christian leaders, including Billy Graham, Mathew Staver, the late Bill Bright, and the late Jerry Falwell.

Teens wanting a free Bible to give away can visit timtodd.org/freebible/signup.php. Additional copies may be purchased for a special discounted price of $3 each from the outreach’s website or by calling (800) 733-4737. There is a limit of one free Bible per teenager in each home.

This year’s National Truth For Youth Week campaign will continue through this Friday, August 14.
