A former FCC Commissioner and a top executive from Amazon will be featured at a panel event next week being held by NRB in Washington, DC. NRB’s John Milton Project for Free Speech and The Heritage Foundation will co-host this event, titled “The Internet Highway and the Rules of the Road.”
Following introductory comments by NRB President & CEO Dr. Jerry A. Johnson and Robert Gordon of the Heritage Foundation, a panel moderated by NRB Senior Vice President & General Counsel Craig Parshall will engage in a roundtable discussion on the FCC's current "net neutrality" proceeding and the pathway toward upholding free market innovation and citizen free speech on the Internet. Highlighting this panel are former FCC Commissioner Robert McDowell, Amazon Vice President of Global Policy Paul Misener, National Constitution Center President Jeffrey Rosen, and Andrew Kloster of the Heritage Foundation’s Edwin Meese III Center for Legal and Judicial Studies.
