NRB President & CEO Dr. Frank Wright was in the Philippines last week to see firsthand the work in which faith-based non-profit Convoy of Hope is engaged.
During his visit, Dr. Wright stopped by a few of the schools where Convoy of Hope is feeding children each week.
"Convoy of Hope plays a unique and strategic role in the Christian aid landscape,” noted Dr. Wright.
“Their compassionate service to people in need of help and hope is matched with a singular willingness to serve the community of Christian aid organizations through intentional and creative partnerships,” he added.
The children’s feeding initiatives of Convoy of Hope are among the works in which the Springfield, MO-based organization is engaged. Others include community outreach, disaster response, and partner resourcing.
In its nearly 20 years of existence, Convoy of Hope has helped over 56 million people in more than 100 countries. In that time, the organization has also given away more than $338 million worth of food and supplies to people in need.
