NRB Executive Vice President & COO Dr. Linda W. Smith joined Israeli and U.S. dignitaries last week at the Israeli Embassy for Bridges for Peace’s presentation of a second ambulance to Heart to Heart and the people of Israel on behalf of Christians across America.
Bridges for Peace is a Christian outreach of unconditional friendship to Israel and the Jewish community, and Heart to Heart is a project of American Friends of Magen David Adom, a nonprofit organization devoted exclusively to saving lives in Israel for more than seven decades.
On hand for ceremonies last Thursday were Israeli Deputy Chief of Mission Reuven Azar; Rev. Rebecca Brimmer, Bridges for Peace International President and CEO; and Dr. Jim Solberg, Bridges for Peace USA National Director. Jonathan Feldstein, Israeli Director of Heart to Heart, received the ambulance on behalf of the Israeli people.
Heart to Heart, which will be exhibiting at the upcoming NRB 2015 International Christian Media Convention, allows Christians to play an important role in saving lives in Israel by supporting Magen David Adom, Israel’s only government sanctioned, but not financially supported, paramedic, ambulance, and blood-banking organization.
