Providence Journal Event to Explore Christianity and National Security

Next week Providence Journal is hosting a conference at Georgetown University in Washington, D.C., titled, “Christianity & National Security: Exploring Church Teaching on Government’s Divine Vocation.” As it explores historic Christian teaching about God’s purpose for government, scholars will address issues such as Just War teaching, nuclear weapons, nationalism, international human rights, and more. Providence, which is published by the Institute on Religion & Democracy and The Philos Project, notes that the event is geared toward Christians who are early in their careers or in graduate school.
