The Fellowship of European Broadcasters (FEB), an NRB affiliate that connects European Christian broadcasters with global media partners around the world, will hold its upcoming conference in the United Kingdom for the first time since the association was established in 1991.
The November 21-24 conference will feature speakers including Terence Ascott of SAT-7; Simon Bass of the UK-based Churches Child Protection Advisory Service (CCPAs); British Member of Parliament David Burrowes; Jorg Dechert of Germany-based ERF Media; Neil Elliott of the UK-based United Christian Broadcasters (UCB); Russell Farnworth of TWR UK; Jarle Haugland of Norway-based FOM; and Nick Pollard of UK-based Damaris.
There will also be a panel session discussing the topic of "Child Protection and Online Safety," which directly affects broadcasters and communicators.
FEB Conferences have been held every 18 months around Europe in countries varying from the Netherlands, Belgium, and Germany to Slovakia, Slovenia, Denmark, Spain, and Greece.
The theme of the 2013 conference is "Changing Media - Unchanging Message." A draft program is available on the FEB Website, feb.org.
