For the NRB Annual Media Awards, all members are invited to submit the individuals and organizations that they believe best meet the awards criteria. Self-submissions are encouraged from qualified members and will not be viewed negatively as a form of self-promotion, but rather as members seeking a form of recognition for their teams that will provide motivation to continually strive for excellence.

The submission window for the 2016 Annual Media Awards is now closed, so please return to this page in July 2016 for instructions on how to submit for the 2017 Media Awards.

Below is the timeline for the 2016 Annual Media Awards & Special Service Awards.

06/26/15 Standing Committee Chairs finalize Media Awards and selection criteria and forward to the Director of Membership
07/06/15 Director of Membership sends Awards Chair the Special Service Awards and Media Awards categories for final approval
07/13/15 Awards Committee Chair provides approvals of Media and Special Service Awards description/criteria
07/20/15 Submissions window opens
08/14/15 Submissions window closes
08/28/15 Supporting Media Award materials due
09/04/15 Director of Membership sends Media Award submissions & supporting materials to Standing Cmte Judges
09/18/15 Standing Committee Judges send Media Award winners to NRB
Nov 2015 Award recipients are notified via letter from NRB President
Dec 2015 NRB begins publicizing Awards recipients in NRB Today
Feb 2016 Media Awards and Special Service Awards presented at Convention
