The NRB President’s Council comprises visionary NRB Members, who express their commitment to the work of the association through additional commitments of time, support, and financial resources. President’s Council members understand the singular importance of NRB’s engagement in the legislative, legal, and regulatory processes centered in Washington, DC, recognizing that these efforts are crucial in the battle to keep the doors of electronic media open for the spread of the Gospel. Through participation in special events in Washington, DC, President’s Council members serve as influential ambassadors for NRB as they interact with political leaders and others with positions of significant influence and authority in our nation’s capital.
In short, President’s Council members are a select group of strategic partners whose generous support and dedicated efforts enable the NRB to preserve and expand the proclamation of the Gospel of Jesus Christ, both here and around the world.
As a member of the President's Council, you will receive an invitation to attend the NRB Capitol Hill Media Summit, September 13-14, 2011, at the Gaylord National Resort in Washington, D.C. Over this two-day event, you will be given an insider's access to Capitol Hill:
As a Member of the President's Council you will also be invited to a special presidential reception at the annual NRB Convention & Exposition. There you will network and interact with notable NRB leaders, convention speakers, industry leaders, and influential government officials.
“The President’s Council is a ‘must’ for all members of the NRB who see the need for involvement with the federal government which is so engaged with what broadcasters do now and intend to do in the future.”
- Michael D. Little, President & COO, The Christian Broadcasting Network
“An outstanding opportunity to better understand … how we, as an association, can fight to protect the proclamation of the Gospel generally, strive to preserve our rights as religious broadcasters, and act more efficiently as salt and light in our culture.”
- John Fuller, Vice President of Audio and New Media, Focus on the Family
“WLMB-TV 40 TOLEDO supports the President’s Council because we believe the NRB is best positioned to preserve and expand Christian broadcasting not only in the United States, but literally around the globe. Our investment is a well placed strategic investment in the building of the Kingdom of God and without question, the successes of the NRB for Christian broadcasters, for Christian communicators, has been monumental. If you are a Christian broadcaster, I can think of no wiser place to invest in the preservation and expansion of your religious freedoms than to become a Member of the NRB President’s Council.”
