Manassas, VA – NRB President/CEO Dr. Frank Wright reiterated NRB’s support for the Day of Prayer for the Peace of Jerusalem, October 4th.
Coordinated by Eagles’ Wings, the goal of this Day of Prayer is to “raise global awareness and intercession for God’s purposes in Israel,” in response to the mandate of Psalm 122:6. More than 200,000 churches in 175 nations will be providing their active and prayerful support, and the events of October 4th will be broadcast live to 192 nations on GOD TV.
Wright said, “The Day of Prayer for the Peace of Jerusalem helps Christians all over the world to live out Psalm 122:6 in a substantive way. The leadership exerted by Robert Stearns and Jack Hayford has produced an amazing harvest in focused corporate prayer.”
Each year, the first Sunday in October is designated as the Day of Prayer for the Peace of Jerusalem. Originally organized by Dr. Robert Stearns and Pastor Jack Hayford in 2002, this year’s Day of Prayer event has a goal of mobilizing 100 million people around the globe to pray for the Peace of Jerusalem on October 4th.
