The General Counsel's Office provides legal advice and representation to the National Religious Broadcasters. This office is headed by Craig Parshall, NRB's Senior Vice President and General Counsel. The General Counsel also oversees the drafting and filing of legal and regulatory documents for NRB, including some filings in the Federal Communications Commission and those in the court system that advance the mission of the association in keeping the doors of electronic communications open for the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Specifically, our General Counsel advances NRB's interests in matters pertaining to First Amendment freedoms, and relevant media policy issues. The General Counsel's Office also provides legal analysis and research to members of Congress, agencies, and cooperating organizations on matters pertinent to NRB's mission, and participates in filing Amicus Curiae ("friend of the court") briefs in pending cases, including select ones before the U.S. Supreme Court.
